Operations Staff are responsible for driving business operations at CJEM. They support business planning, business operations, and partner outreach through the Manager of Operations & Planning and the Manager of Communications & Engagement.

Current initiatives include the development of our Pan-Canadian Stakeholder Engagement Plan and Grant Applications!

Internal Communications Specialist

The role of Internal Communications Specialist under the Manager of Communications and Engagement is integral to the successful implementation of CJEM’s communications strategies and initiatives. Working in tandem with the Manager and alongside another Communications Specialist, this position plays a key role in executing strategic communication plans and ensuring alignment with CJEM’s overarching vision.

Donor and Engagement Officer

The Donor Relations and Engagement Officer plays a pivotal role in fostering meaningful connections and partnerships for CJEM. Reporting to both the Manager of Operations & Planning and the Manager of Communications & Engagement, this position is integral to driving the journal’s fundraising efforts, donor relations strategies, and stakeholder engagement initiatives. By collaborating closely with internal teams and external partners, the Donor Relations and Engagement Officer contributes to the sustainability and growth of CJEM’s operations, ensuring its continued impact in the field of emergency management.
